Rev. Dr. Laura Blauvelt (She/Her) is an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church. She is dedicated to inclusion in the church and her own life. A gift preacher and powerful truth-speaker, Rev. Blauvelt challenges us to take Jesus seriously and to deliver the good new of Jesus to people of all ages, nations and races. Rev. Dr. Laura Blauvelt holds her Doctor of Ministry degree from Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC. We look forward to the messages Rev. Blauvelt will deliver at Refuge 2020!
Worship Leader
Iris (She/Her) and Tori (She/Her) Saunders are worship leaders originally from the Maryland area. You may have been led by Iris when she was at First Saints Community Church in St. Mary’s County. Before getting married, they both have been writing music and leading worship for years. Now writing music and worshiping together serves as a foundation for their marriage.
